Asking Questions

Questioning is important to encourage students' participation and critical thinking.Types of Questions:  

1. Yes/No Questions

  • Do you understand?
  • Have you finished?
  • Is that correct?

2. Wh-Question

  • What is inflation?
  • Why does demand increase?
  • Who can explain the answer?
  • When does inflation occur?
  • How can we reduce inflation?

3. Higher-Order Questions

  • What would happen if prices increased significantly?
  • How would consumers respond?
  • Can you compare demand and supply?
  • What is your opinion?
