Environmental Engineering Study Program – Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Lampung

This English course is designed to equip students of the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Environmental Engineering with English language skills in grammar, reading, writing, and speaking that are relevant to academic and professional contexts in environmental engineering, with an emphasis on English for Specific Purposes (ESP).

The course focuses on strengthening English grammar, developing environmental engineering-related technical vocabulary, improving the ability to understand scientific texts, developing academic writing skills such as summaries, abstracts, and technical reports, and enhancing oral communication skills through discussions of current environmental issues.

Through this course, students are expected to develop the ability and confidence to use English as a means of scientific and professional communication in the field of Environmental Engineering.
