In this course, students are expected to be able to explain various aspects related to corrosion, including the understanding of corrosion, forms of corrosion, the impact of corrosion, electrochemical principles of corrosion (corrosion reaction, standard electrode potential, Pourbaix diagram, determination of the corrosion rate).
