Insstructional Design

Instructional design is a course dealing with how to design instructional program; the general purpose of this subject is to enable students to understand and describe what characteristics instruction must have to be successful in terms of aiding learning. Instruction is a set of events that affect learners in such a way that learning is facilitated. The events may have direct effect on the learning of human being

Instructional Design is an approach to a course design focusing on the question ‘Why and how do the learners learn. It is the process by which the raw data about a learning need and situation are interpreted in order to produce an integrated series of events that aims at aiding the learning of the individual. It also includes the evaluation procedure by which progress towards the special goals will be measured; design and conduct formative and summative evaluation.
