Essential Speaking Skills course equips students with basic oral communication skills in English for a variety of everyday interpersonal and transactional situations. The course emphasizes students' ability to hold conversations, exchange information, describe themselves, other people, places, and objects, express preferences, sustain interaction, use communication strategies, make requests, invitations, suggestions, and advice, and talk about experiences, plans, and simple problems.
Learning is conducted through Communicative Language Teaching, Collaborative Learning, Task-Based Learning, Role Play, Case Method, and Project-Based Learning (PjBL) approaches. Students gradually develop their ability from simple conversation toward more complex and authentic communication.
