This course examines the evolution of economic thought from classical antiquity to contemporary economics. Emphasis is placed on the major schools of thought, methodological debates, and the contrast between the Classical–Keynesian approach and the marginalist–neoclassical tradition. Students will critically assess how economic ideas developed in response to historical, social, and intellectual contexts.
