In this course, students know the relationship between biochemistry and microbiology, general classification of microorganisms, microorganism nutrition, techniques related to handling microorganisms (isolation, screening, sterilization, cultivation, storage and reculturation), techniques for identification and quantification of microorganisms and the application of microorganisms in various fields.
