"Literary Reading" course introduces students to the practice of reading, interpreting, and analyzing literary works across genres such as prose and poetry. It emphasizes the development of critical reading skills, literary appreciation, and the application of various literary theories to understanding texts as cultural and humanist expressions. Through discussions, close reading, and written assignments, students will develop the ability to construct compelling interpretations, evaluate literary texts within their social and cultural contexts, and present their ideas both orally and in writing.
