PROCEDURAL LAW AND PRACTICE OF RELIGIOUS COURTS_IC 2025_DEWI SEPTIANA AND SAYYIDAH SEKAR DEWI KULSUM
The Procedural Law and Practice of Religious Courts course discusses the provisions of procedural law applicable in the Religious Courts and their practical application in resolving cases. The material studied includes the principles of procedural law, the absolute and relative authority of religious courts, the stages of proceedings ranging from case registration, mediation, examination, evidence, verdict, and legal remedies. In addition to understanding the theory, students are also equipped with practical skills through exercises in preparing case documents, practicing moot court, and analyzing court decisions. This course aims to develop students' competencies so that they are able to understand religious court procedures comprehensively, have professional procedural skills, uphold ethics, and can contribute to resolving community legal issues in the areas of marriage, divorce, inheritance, waqf, zakat, sharia economics, and other cases that fall under the authority of the Religious Courts.
