This course provides an in-depth understanding of international accounting practices, emphasizing the application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the comparison with local accounting standards. Students will explore financial reporting of multinational corporations, the effects of foreign exchange fluctuations, international taxation, and the impact of regulations on global accounting practices. Ethical considerations in international accounting and case studies of real-world multinational entities will also be covered. By the end of the course, students will be able to analyze and interpret financial information in an international context, preparing them for careers in global financial management and accounting.
