The Biochemistry II course is a compulsory subject that discusses the basic principles of biomolecular metabolism in living cell systems and the electron transfer processes that accompany this process. It also discusses the relationship between biomolecular metabolism and energy metabolism and the metabolic regulation system carried out by living cells. The syllabus discussed are: Introduction to Metabolism; Energy Metabolism; Carbohydrate Metabolism; Electron Transport Chain and Phosphorylation Oxidative; Photosynthesis; Lipid Metabolism; Biosynthesis of Proteins and Nucleic Acids, and Protein biosynthesis and its control.
