Arif Darmawan, S.E., M.A

Arif Darmawan is a young lecturer and passionate academician at the Department of Economic Development, University of Lampung. He received Sarjana Ekonomi; S.E (Magna-Cumlaude) in Economics Development from Sebelas Maret University, Solo, where he was awarded the 2nd Best Student Award by Sebelas Maret University (Mapres Utama) and Best Graduate (by Cumulative GPA) in 2012. In 2016, he completed his M.A. (Hons.), majoring in Developmental Economics and Economic Growth from Marmara University in Istanbul with a full Turkish government scholarship. He is very active in the research area of public policy, sustainable development and macroeconomics issues while he frequently published national peer-reviewed articles. He is also active to join some excellent programs and win prestigious scholarship/awards such as Terbaik ke-II Diklatsar CPNS Kemendikbud Tahun 2020, full scholarship to join 3^rd Intensive Course on Transport and Urban Economics from the University of Indonesia in collaboration with Vrije University of Amsterdam, and Think Policy Bootcamp Sprint held by Think Policy Institute fully funded from New Zealand Aid Program in 2021. Arif is fluent in English and Turkish with basic Arabic, Korean and Japanese commands. His life and work experience cover Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Russia, and Turkey.
