4 March - 10 March
- During your time reading stories, you must have encountered character that you like and character that you dislike because of several reasons. Most of the times, the factors of liking or disliking are related to appearance, attitude, behaviour, styles, and also some implicit elements such as the way the characters treat other characters.
However, after reading and listening to the two given stories, you must have realized that proper appearance, and polite attitude can be some objects of hypocrisy that cloak the dark traits within a certain figure in a story.
After getting exposed to such characters, and discussing several other examples, please reflect to what you have read and listen from the previous materials, and think about this:
1. How does an author develop a story using such deceiving qualities of some characters? What do you think if Severus Snape from Harry Potter carried an pure angelic figure instead of cold and harsh traits as a killer teacher?
2. Imagine you have to develop a story, what would you do to your protagonist and antagonist to create an interesting story? Which fictional work(s) would you like to reflect as reference? Why?

Read the given chapter of a pop-science book. Think about:
1. What new info do you obtain?
2. How does it change your perspective?
3. What do you think about the chapter?
18 March - 24 March
Some movies, novels, and event cartoons are labeled with the magical phrase 'based on true story'. The question is, how accurate are these with the real events? Do you think real events are horrible? Or you think the other way?

You will have to imagine this:
You are accepted in a not-so-popular university with fully funded scholarship, at the major you've aimed for years. You have observed that the campus and you learned that the department where you are involved in is newly emerged, as you will be the second batch; means you'll have only a batch of senior upon you.
Surprisingly, on the next day, you receive an announcement, telling your admission to one of the most reputable university has been granted, and you will be enrolled in the major which is considered the best in that university, and even among other universities. However, your inner call is not into that major. You chose it just for testing your capability and didn't even aim to succeed it. Your parents encourage you to take the second option and they say they will pay the tuition no matter how costly it will be.
Your reaction?
In this assignment, you have to do an observation to one of the following fictional characters and write a brief description about them based on what you have observed.

Regarding point number 2, if in a movie, where this fictional character is the main protagonist, a production house change the actor into someone new who is a complete stranger, what do you think will happen to the movie.Write your descriptive-opinion-driven essay in not less than 300 words. You may use necessary illustration if needed.
Please consider reading at least 4 types among the 16.
You may also do the test if you want to know which type you belong to.
Meeting 7 (4 May-10 May)
You need to sum-up some reading materials about teacher (it can be fiction or non-fiction). You will later have to make a brief summary consisting of at least 5 slides which include your impression about the reading materials, the figures you can follow, and how would you see yourself as a teacher in the future.
Making your PPT as interesting as possible is very recommended.
Meeting 8 (11 May-17 May)
In this evaluation task, you will deal take role as students of School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Consider mentioning your name, and your house on your manuscript.
Given in this task is a chunk of remarkable manuscript by Newt Scamander where you have to digest, analyze, and review by following the given aspects:
1. As a wizard, and considering your house, which beast is the most useful? Why?
2. Which one do you fear the most? Why?
3. If number 1 and number 2 are having the same answer, how do you cope with it? If it is different, do you think your answer for number 1 is intended to counter beast you choose for number 2? Why?
4. Which one do you think you want to have as your personal aide? If your answer is the same with number 1, why do you think so? If it is different, why you don't choose the beast you thought to be the most suitable with your character and your house needs?You have to generate your answer in the form of interactive narration, as if you write story, or a diary. You are free to include illustration, hand-drawing, anything to help you write your thoughts.

- Discuss the theories in the given space after you watch the video.
Please choose one of the following movies to watch:

5. The Sixth SenseYou will need to watch the movie you choose attentively and develop a theory based on what you have watch, and making it into 5 slides of power point (minimum). Adding some screenshot and illustration taken from the movie is allowed to support your points of argument.

- Watch the short movies entitled 'Geri's Game' and 'Paperman'. Take some notes and do analysis by involving the following points:
1. What happened to the main characters of both movies?
2. What similarities do they have?
3. How do you think the plots of both movies are delivered?
4. What moral messages you can identify (if any) and relate to real life situations?
Make your response by writing a 300 words (or more) review. Find an interview scripts between an interviewer and a public figure. Try to identify some interesting questions which are aimed to get personal information about the public figure. You need to explain why the questions are essential and interesting.

Given within this tab is a short story by Oscar Wilde. Your friends in offline class have arranged it into a cohere story, and created some alternative endings.
Your job is to make a one page prequel of this story, and it should be done as a collective work (means all the online students work together to make a story with the setting of 'previous event' before the 'Happy Prince' story.
The work should be submitted as a hard copy that is scanned and send to me through mail/WhatsApp. Good luck.
