HI-KOSMOPOLITANISME 2020
•Cosmopolitanism can be understood in a number of ways. Interpreted literally, it means citizen of the world.
•Morally, cosmopolitanism is the claim that every human being has independent and equal moral worth: this means that we have equal duties to each and every human being on the earth, sometimes called moral universalism.

By the end of this class students will:

•1) Be able to examine debates about the moral significance of political borders and citizenship.
•2) Develop, or strengthen, understandings of the normative aspects of cosmopolitanism issues (ex.: climate change, immigrant, humanitarian issue).
•3) Develop and practice the ability to read, explain, and criticize complex arguments in speech and writing.
