English for Special Purposes is an advance English for freshmen to sophomore students in college. It is necessary for these students in order to improve their English capability that is particularly needed for their subject or special interest. Jobs competition is widely spread in global; therefore, the ability of speaking English turns out to be one of the qualifications.
Many English courses had been taught to the students even since they were in junior high school (some being offered in elementary school); however, so far, they are not helping much in improving their English. Therefore, this module is prepared in order to help teaching and learning in English specifically in their interest area. It is believed that improving English will me much better in the topics or subjects that they are already known. Aside that with this module it is hoped that these students may possibly prepare learning English by themselves.
This English for Special Purposes in Natural Sciences is made in order to meet what student’s needs for learning English in the subject of Math and Sciences. Since the Math and Sciences subjects is so broaden, therefore the reading materials that used are generally in very simple scientific readings.
